Where to Go Now?

People say that you life really starts when you graduate college.  Well I feel that mine really hasn't.  Right before I graduated I had that feeling that, "maybe this isn't what I want to do for the rest of my life.  Now I still don't know what I want to do.  Currently I am back in school for another degree but I am not sure if that is what I want to do. I really confused on what to do. I ask my friends and family what to do but their advice hasn't really helped yet.  I feel like I am a prisoner of my own mind.  Any advice would be great. 

Time for a Spruce Up

I think that it is time to spruce up the blog a little.  In the coming weeks there will be changes coming to the blog.  New format. New Layout. New designs. Who knows what could be changing to the OtakuXZero.  If you have any suggestions leave a comment and I shall see if they work.  Be ready for some changes.

Possible Youtube bound.

So I have thought about trying to make some funny videos for Youtube.  I think that I would be fun and I have a few people who tell me that they wish that they had a camera and would have caught what I said since it was so funny. I am down to try and make this but it will take some time since I would have to get a camera and some other equipment but I have already started thinking of what I should film and if it does happen I think this will be great.  Would love thoughts on if you think this is a good idea or not. Even some video tips would be greatly appreciated.

Really YouTube

 The other day I was listening to some music on YouTube and something caught my eye. If you are an avid viewer of YouTube content then you will  see that they will place advertisement on the right side of the screen before all of the related videos.  It was so funny that I took of the picture of what YouTube advertisers wanted me to do.

Really YouTube. Really. You really need to take the time to see what your advertisers want to advertise are saying on your website.   I find this hysterical in the fact that ask.com is wanting to tell me how to download music from YouTube. I just found this funny and I thought I would share. Hope this made you laugh like I did.

Monthly blah

With time going by you wonder what is really going on around you. Well I decided to stop and take a look around and see what is going on around the world.  I can tell that it is definitely  February. Yes it is that time of the year when couples show there affection for each other buy buying into the  conspiracy that the card people, flower people, and candy people have created to show there special someone that they really care about them. (Well only the card people and flower people.  The candy corporations are doing gods work.(If you get that reference congrats))

This is probably the best valentine's day card I have ever seen.

The Era of Nerds

Have you ever realized that we are living in the era of the nerd. It's true. Think about it. In the last 5 years we have had a fair amount of "nerd" movies. Ranging from super hero movies to a live action manga adaptation.

Comic book stories were slowly fading away and now comic books are mainstream and more people are reading them. (not that there is anything wrong with that.)

We have a television show out that depicts the lives of four nerds and what they go through and the social awkwardness that they create for themselves

Nerds are very vast but there was a time when a nerd really couldn't be themselves. Now it is acceptable to be one. No matter what type of nerd you are be proud at the fact that you like technology, anime, video games, or comic books. I know that I am proud to be a nerd.

To the Extreme!!

Since my computer was out of commission for about a week I decided to buy a game to keep myself occupied while I got my computer working.  So I bought the Metal Gear Solid HD collection (since I never played the second or third game I thought it would be a good buy.)  Well after about four days I beat the first game and I decided to start playing the third game.  Like most games that are our now you have the option to set the difficulty level and Metal gear solid 3 had this feature.  As I browse through the selection on what difficulty to play something at the bottom of the screen caught my eye.  I literally took a picture of it.


I feel that I have seen it all.  I can see having the extreme difficulty, but seriously EUROPEAN EXTREME!!!  Come on. Really?  I laughed so hard after I saw that.  I love how a Japanese made game has a difficulty for Europe.  I thought that us Americans were pretty extreme but apparently not. So after all the laughing had ended. I decided to see what European Extreme meant in the game and I found out that It really does take the game to extreme. Since the game is about stealth in European Extreme will give you a game over every time an enemy sees you.  That really sucks since I get spotted like every 5 minutes and have to work my way out of it.  I think for once I have to give the European they take there games hard to play.

This might not be that important but I thought that it was interesting and worth a laugh.  Nothing like thoughts from my head. Also found this and thought it was worth a watch.

The Sounds of Games

I know that there are a lot of people who plays video games but I have always wondered what do people really enjoy.  Is it the story? The visual? The characters? Just the game play itself?  I sat down a few days ago playing some of my favorite classic games and I realized that I really don't care about how the visuals are.  Fun story and game play, a story, and some amazing music can make a game.  (Seriously. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4: Turtles in Time had the most amazing game soundtrack.)

Don't believe me check it out.

A game that was very under rated was Psychonauts. (Seriously if you can find a copy of this pick it up.) This game had the best story to any game that I have ever played.  You would dive into peoples' minds and you have to help figure out what is going on in there subconsious.  For the love of good one whole level was to try and find the milk man. (Seriously took me a few days to figure out what the hell to do.)  There are great jokes and just all around fun. 

Just watch the trailer and see if it will compel you to play it.

I am curious to see what others think makes a good game. (believe me I have played some great games that have came out recently that may not be the best looking, or have the greatest story, or sound the best but something will keep you playing it.)

Development in the Night.

Since I am not a person who knows what sleep I will normally spend my time either playing games ow watching TV. Since video games got a little boring I decided to check out what is on the good old television.  While channel surfing up to adult swim I cam across one of my greatest shows that should have never been canceled. Arrested Development was something that TV was ready for. It has great humor (real smart humor.) The casting was great. The story was genius. I will make you giggle. If you have Netflix add it to you instant que and take some time to give a show a chance.

New Year. New Ideas.

So with a new year there are resolutions.  So one of my resolutions is to get subscribers to the blog.  I also want to update more frequently for all of my readers. If there is anything you want to see me right about please subsribe so you can email me or leave a comment.   Till another I find something good to write, later days.
